Mission Bay Kayak Bass Tourney 2008

The Mission Bay Kayak tourney is coming up on April 12th. Troutslayer and I went last year and got to be a part of history as it broke the world record for attendance of an ocean kayak fishing tournament. Lots of fun! Such a great time. Bob have you looked into FastLane sailing again to get a rental?

Not yet. They did it as kind of a one off and I have a feeling that for 1 or 2 they would do it again, but if we have a decent-sized group that needs to rent, they might not be able to accomodate. We should firm up who's going... You, me, Scheff, Ragus, anybody else want in?

If you have not registered yet, it looks like reg fees go up from $50 top $60 on April 4th. Also, looks like it's also being called the "Fastlane Kayak Fishing Frenzy" after the Sailing and Kayak center where it starts and finishes. The folks who run Fastlane Kayaks are good people--I met the owner and rented a 'yak from them last year (even though they don't normally rent them).
Register for the "Fastlane Kayak Fishing Frenzy" here. It is a great tournament! Last year there was free BBQ and beer afterwards!
