MeAndMyFish.org... Because every fish has its tale.

A friend recently took his little bro fishing and wanted directions to the West Fork of the San Gabriel River near Los Angeles, because he’d heard a lot of us had caught fish there. Here’s how to get there, if your ever in the area…
>Heading east from the 605 Freeway on the 210 in Azusa, CA, exit Azusa Ave.
>Left on Azusa Ave, and head North towards the mountains.
>Stop at Benny’s liquor to pick up a parking pass for the forest (as well as your favorite fishing beverage).
>Continue up the mountain about 7 miles. Notice the monster truck off-road park on the right.
>Pass a large bridge on the right.
>Continue another ½ mile and you’ll find two parking lots on the left as you cross the river.
>Pick a parking lot and head up river.
>The West Fork of the San Gabriel River runs 7-8 miles from the trailhead along a paved trail. The first 2 miles are trout-stocked and the remaining stretch is catch/release with barbless hooks.
