1st Spring Kayak Fishing Voyage 2008

Rich and I hit up the Crown Point shores so he could try out his new vessel. Calm winds and seas are no indication that you can flip. Within one hour Rich took a boat wake and flipped his Cobra Fishing Kayak. Lost his Sunglasses and pole (you can see it dangling of the side in picture before it dropped). Got to say it is little scary to see that happen but some good laughs are in order when you know you are safe. Shortly after nailed a nice 16 inch 1.5 lb spotty by the radar beacon off Fiesta Island. Nice way to spend a Saturday morning and get a pre-fish before the Tournament i a couple of weeks.
